It has given me immense enjoyment. However, I find myself with nothing different or of value to write about and have decided to change out my blog here over to my photography site. I am not sure how I will do it, but I will be closing down Life Ride As I See It as a blog here and morphing it more into a photo blog. As most know, I have the As I See It Daily as a separate blog for my A-Z Challenges and will keep it that way. The web address for this LRAISI will stay the same, however, I still have to work out the format.
My interest of photography has been a passion since I got my first Polaroid in the 60's, and when I bought my A-1 Canon in the 80's it took me farther on the creative road. Things in life changed for me though, and I always seem to put it on the back burner until riding became a part of my life. I bought a new digital and with the help of Bob Skoot, I got back on the road of taking photos. Boy, do I miss him. I loved his geek advice. He really was knowledgeable, and our visit together in Alameda pushed me into staying on this blog. He nudged me to keep it going and I did on his advice.
I am told by Cousin Susie, she rode a
motorcycle too. I would love to hear that story.
I am back in school with my photography. The thought is to incorporate it with riding, but also interjecting it into my everyday life and most of all, tell the stories of others that I meet along life's path. Taking this approach genuinely excites me. There is something about telling the tale of the photo.

I have so many photos yet to put up on my Vacay Ride, that I have decided to post them over at the Gallery for the time being with captions under the pictures until I figure out the logistics. The timing on those posts right there tells you how long it has been for some inspiration to hit me.
Some of you may have noticed my downsizing of social media. It has become a bit of a disappointment for me and I have "cleaned house" of those negatives. I really do not need social media for anything I do, but I enjoy my peeps. We do keep in contact and the sharing of our photos has been fun. I do not collect friends or include the negative anymore. It has been refreshing to use the "delete" button. Funny how that works...
Even though my stats are great here, I never really cared about stats on this blog. I only cared about the people, messages and emails, and great vibes I got from all over. It was never meant to be a marketing channel. It has always been a personal blog, and I questioned myself the times I allowed an advertiser here. I realized it just wasn't for me and have stopped it gladly. I just like being me here. I just like my funky place. Like blue jeans and t's, keeping it comfortable.
The people I have met through this blog are incredible. I have met many. Ridden with many, and have laughed some good laughs to last a lifetime with many. I have no regrets for those moments, and I can truly say I have real friends for life because of this blog. It has been the greatest joy to me here to have met those, and you know who you are! I expect many more lifetime memories to be made with youzzz and many stories will be told through the photo (errr... maybe NOT LOL). Anyway, you know what I mean...
So, I look forward to the next avenue. I am hoping to bring some photos with a better art to them and a good story or two to tell the tale. I hope you all stay with me, and I will let you all know when I know where to go.
Until Then On With The New!
Hugzzz and Happy New Trailzzz,
